To the west of the estate, behind the pine forests, lies this very limestone parcel. The soil is sometimes completely covered with limestone, protecting the soil from evaporation during hot spells. Dreaded by pickers because it puts a strain on the ankles, this plot produces Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah wines with tight, fine tannins.
